Food retail is a profitable and high-risk industry: the demand for products is growing, new restaurants, supermarkets and markets are opening.Substandard products spoil the reputation of producers and the health of customers. According to the company Zeto (Ireland), in the course of improper storage and fraud, the world food industry loses from $ 10 to $ 15 billion per year. Can modern technology bring fresh products to the customers' table and ensure security for all market participants?

IT-company Zeto offers an integrated system for the safe storage, fast transportation and the profitable sale of products.The platform is based on IoT (Internet of Things, a sensor system) that analyzes the external conditions of manufacturing, packaging and delivery of products from the factory to the client's desk. Data are recorded in the block: if the meat has been thawed due to voltage fluctuations, the manufacturer, the seller and the buyer will find out about it.
What is ZetoChain?
The main idea of ​​the developers is the continuous tracking of the progress of manufacturing, packaging, transportation and sale of products. The ZetoChain app is designed for manufacturers, retailers and consumers. The adaptive platform is suitable for the supply chain in the restaurant business, retail, production, packaging and delivery of food.

The basis of ZetoChain consists of three principles: 
• Transparency and trust. The seller and the consumer of the product can trace the "history" of the name from the factory to the counter, all information about the delivery dates and storage times is fixed in the block. This reduces the likelihood of counterfeits, protects the health of customers and the reputation of manufacturers. 
• Protection and economy. The system of notification of equipment malfunctions, the expiry of the storage period, the delay of the goods lot at the customs office reduces the losses of the manufacturers. The opportunity to know the real date of manufacture, packaging and delivery of the product to the store reduces the costs of finding and disposing of poor-quality food. 
• Efficiency and quality.Monitoring of storage and operation conditions of equipment is automatic, reducing the costs of the manufacturer for hiring employees. This approach increases the efficiency of the supply chain, sets a new level of quality in the industry.
How does ZetoChain work?
ZetoChain operates on a system of smart contracts between manufacturers, carriers and food retailers. IoT sensors monitor the temperature regime in warehouses, record the date of dispatch and receipt of the goods lot, send notifications for technical problems and other extraordinary situations.

According to Whitepaper, the program is adapted to the five main "links" in the supply chain.
• Manufacturer. ZetoChain fixes the conditions and terms of storage of raw materials in the block, sends a notice of the readiness of the goods for shipment in real time. Owners of farms, plants and factories distribute the load of equipment, optimize the time for dispatch of goods. 
• The carrier. The conditions for transporting the product are fixed by means of sensors installed in trucks, wagons or containers. The transport company will dispose of the schedule of deliveries in view of terms of storage of each goods. 
• Wholesaler. The temperature and maximum terms of storage of large lots are given to the owners of warehouses, facilitating the rotation of the goods. 
• Retailer or owner of a catering point. Monitoring of the terms and conditions of storage continues, for any problems ZetoChain sends a notification to the owner. 
• The consumer. Visitors to cafes and restaurants, customers in supermarkets can scan the product's barcode, having received all information about its manufacturer, carrier and wholesaler. Blocking does not allow changing the records loaded into the system, so all information will be reliable.
Technically, ZetoChain for buyers looks like sending a parcel in the usual Russian Post application or AliExpress. The version for the manufacturers is similar to the remote control: several indicators are reflected on the computer monitor or smartphone screen.

How is ICO ZetoChain? 
The sale of ZetoChain tokens is scheduled for July 9, 2018 and will continue until July 31, 2018, a total of 340 million ZetoCoins are planned. Tokens are issued according to the ERC20 standard, are offered at a price of 1 dollar for 10 coins. 
Tokens are distributed in the following proportion: 
• 44% of the issued ZETOs will be sold during the ICO.
